Hey, is your phone incompatible with the latest tech innovation out there in the market – VoWiFi?
No worries mate, we are here to assist you.
Please Note: Before going ahead, please understand this setting involves a change to the Under testing settings which may or may not break your device architecture. Although if you follow the steps as-is, you won’t have to bear any loss. We have tested this setting on OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, 3 and 3T with Reliance Jio 4G SIM Card at Dwarka, New Delhi and the VoWiFi feature works perfectly smooth.
Step 1: Open your Phone’s Dialer App
Step 2: Dial *#800#
You’ll see a warning in a popup. Don’t worry, just hit ENTER
Step 3: You’ll see Log_test screen. Click onto the option oneplus Logkit
Step 4: Select the option that says Function Switch
Step 5: Enable the Checkbox VoWifi switch
Step 6: Finally, Go to Settings > Wi-Fi & Internet > SIM & network and scroll down a bit. You’ll see the Option stating Wi-Fi Calling. Touch to enable it (if it is off by default). And Select the Calling preference as Wi-Fi preferred. And Reboot your phone.
Hola, You have now enabled the WiFi calling on your OnePlus Android Phone. You’ll see the symbol VoWiFi in your Phone’s top area where you were getting VoLTE symbol.
